History

Founded in 2007 by Rob Green and John Krebsbach, Jr. , the Venture Capital and Private Equity Club at the University of Dayton is the School of Business Administration’s newest and most innovative club. Centered on interactive, discussion based learning and connecting disciplines within the school, it is a unique organization.

As the mission clearly states, Rob and John formed the club with the intentions of promoting awareness and understanding of this industry among their peers. They felt there was a need for the club since many undergraduates are completely unaware of the industry. Given the recent popularity of VC and PE in the mainstream media and national recognition of the Entrepreneurship major, Rob and John felt it was the perfect time to establish the club.
